I.Two separate purchase channels
Ascension Works research files are planned for direct sale and delivery through this website after checkout activation. After verified publication, Ascension Works Actors would remain a separate product channel purchased, run, stored, and billed through Apify.
- Website checkout is not active, and no public file sale can currently be completed.
- The planned website flow uses server-created Stripe-hosted Checkout Sessions for one-time purchases. Chase is the intended payout bank; a checking account by itself is not a checkout system.
- Apify controls its user accounts, usage billing, invoices, stored runs, and platform permissions.
- Apify's current General Terms, Actor Terms, Store Publishing Terms, Acceptable Use Policy, and Privacy Policy also apply on its platform.
II.Digital delivery and file license
After a future website payment is verified on the server, the purchaser will receive a private, order-specific download link. Paid files will not be placed at a public or guessable web address.
- Each release will identify its market, formats, retrieval or version date, source scope, and known limitations before purchase.
- A purchase grants the license stated at checkout; it does not transfer ownership or permit resale, redistribution, public posting, or removal of notices.
- Download expiration, replacement access, updates, corrections, taxes, refunds, and chargeback handling will be stated in the final terms before checkout opens.
III.Website, order, and Actor data handling
This website currently has no customer account, active payment form, advertising tracker, or analytics integration. When checkout is activated, Ascension Works may retain the buyer email, order, payment status, entitlement, and delivery events needed to fulfill and support the purchase.
- If you choose to email, Arete Praxis LLC receives the information you send and uses it to answer the inquiry, scope requested work, provide support, and maintain necessary business records. Do not include sensitive data; deletion requests may be sent to the same address, subject to legal or recordkeeping needs.
- Payment-card entry will occur on Stripe's hosted form; Ascension Works will not intentionally store raw card numbers or security codes.
- Do not email credentials, full payment-card details, bank information, signed links, private raw pages, or sensitive personal data.
- Owner, taxpayer, contact, household, protected-trait, and raw-page fields remain prohibited from Actor product contracts.
- Final permissions, logs, retention, support access, payment-provider terms, and subprocessors must be rechecked before launch.
IV.Research use, not a decision substitute
The current pre-release tools support no-fetch URL classification, network-free coverage checks, and deterministic screening of supplied records. Future approved-source releases may add organization, normalization, and change detection only after their separate gates pass. The files and tools do not provide legal, tax, title, appraisal, lending, credit, insurance, housing, foreclosure, or investment advice, and they do not promise a return, ownership outcome, clear title, property condition, or complete nationwide coverage.
- No owner targeting, skip tracing, debt collection, harassment, or mass outreach.
- No regulated lending, housing, employment, insurance, tenant, consumer-credit, or FCRA decision use.
- Verify current official records, governing law, sale terms, redemption, title, liens, occupancy, access, environmental conditions, and property condition before acting.
V.Billing questions, corrections, and support
For a website file order, provide the order reference and a redacted description. For an Actor issue, provide the Actor name, Apify run ID, UTC run time, expected result, actual result, charged event counts, and a redacted minimal example. Never email credentials, payment-card data, or private datasets.
- Security, suspected exposure, or materially incorrect charging: target acknowledgment within one U.S. Eastern business day.
- Repeatable file or Actor defect: target acknowledgment within two business days.
- Coverage request, enhancement, or usage question: target acknowledgment within three business days.
- Apify controls its platform invoices and credit/refund mechanism. Website file-order refunds will follow the separate terms displayed before direct checkout is activated.
